Our company and Kangstem Biotech’s joint venture, DNK Corporation (co-chairmen: Son Jihoon and Lee Dong-yeol), announced that it has launched the cosmetics brand BENESTEM containing cord-blood-derived stem cell culture solution.

BENESTEM is a brand created from the combination of BENE meaning “beginning” and “birth” and STEM from “stem cell.” The name means the meeting of South Korea’s first pharmaceutical company Dong Wha Pharm and the stem cell company Kangstem Biotech.
BENESTEM Human CBCM Cream, which contains 70 kinds of various proteins of Kangstem Biotech’s cord-blood-derived stem cell culture solution, replenishes the skin’s insufficient amino acid, which is the cause of skin dryness, and the extract complex (DW-curefactor) of Whal Myung Su’s main components — catechu, dried orange peel, silver magnolia, and corydaline — further enhances the hydration.
Moreover, this product is a dual-function cosmetic product containing a medicinal ingredient approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its wrinkle and whitening function. Its various effects, including the soothing of skin irritation, have been confirmed from 22 types of clinical skin trial 1, and it has a non-sticky texture as it does not contain any artificial scent or coloring.
BENESTEM Human CBCM Cream was launched through Lotte Home Shopping last September 23.
Following the said home shopping channel, various other distribution channels are being considered, including major online shopping malls.
The product’s home shopping sales composition is ▲4 BENESTEM Human CBCM Cream 50ml (original product), ▲2 BENESTEM Human CBCM Cream 20ml (additional component), and ▲BENESTEM Human CBCM Cream 1ml (free), and it is sold at KRW89,000.
